After continued discomfort with the Adidas Supernovas, I went back to Fleet Feet to check out other options. I tried on several pair and found the Asics Nimbus 12’s to be the most comfortable and least irritating on the top of my foot. I think the major issue is the Adidas toebox was too narrow and slightly too tight for my foot, which became more obvious as the weather warmed and my foot swelled slightly in the heat.
Despite the fact that the Adidas were 4 months old, Fleet Feet took them back no questions asked and credited the full value against the Asics. Really impressive customer service.

I run with the nimbus 12s also...Im on my third pair already...im used to always buy different sneakers every time i was due for a pair but this is the first pair i have stuck with. Its truly comfortable and supportive on long runs, no issues at all. Probably not the lightest sneaker for short run races but whats an once or two really gonna do for me? lol
